At EPUB Services, we are committed to delivering high-quality publishing, marketing, and author support services tailored to each client’s unique vision. Due to the personalized, creative, and labor-intensive nature of our work, we have adopted a clear and firm no-refund-once-started policy to maintain fairness and transparency for all parties involved.

1. General Policy

Refunds are only available if the service has not been initiated. Once a service has begun—this includes consultations, editorial work, formatting, marketing preparation, project planning, or communication with any service personnel—the service is considered initiated and no refund will be issued, regardless of how much work has been completed.

2. No Partial Refunds

We do not offer partial refunds under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Services that are paused, delayed, or canceled after initiation
  • Client dissatisfaction based on subjective preferences
  • Missed expectations regarding book sales, rankings, or media coverage
  • Project abandonment due to client unresponsiveness or disengagement

Our team commits time, labor, and intellectual effort from the outset. For this reason, all purchases are final once the project has started.

3. Refund Eligibility

A refund may be granted if and only if:

  • The service has not yet been initiated
  • The client submits a refund request within 5 business days of the original purchase
  • No materials have been reviewed, discussed, or used in a service capacity

If these conditions are met, a full refund may be issued, minus any applicable processing fees or third-party payment gateway charges.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

  • Service has been initiated in any form
  • Client changes mind or decides not to proceed
  • Delays caused by the client (e.g., late manuscript submission, lack of communication)
  • Dissatisfaction with results related to subjective expectations
  • Issues arising from third-party platforms (e.g., Amazon KDP algorithm changes)
  • Services delivered as part of a discounted bundle or promotional package

Additionally, all digital deliverables (e.g., formatted files, cover designs, marketing collateral, websites, etc.) are non-returnable and non-refundable once sent or made accessible to the client.

5. Duplicate Payments

If a duplicate payment is made in error, the extra transaction will be refunded in full upon verification. Please notify us promptly with documentation of the duplicate charge.

6. Chargebacks and Disputes

Initiating a chargeback through your payment provider without first attempting to resolve the issue with our support team is a breach of our service terms. In such cases, we reserve the right to:

  • Terminate your access to services
  • Cancel active projects
  • Pursue legal remedies in the event of a fraudulent dispute
